ONS SIG Strategic Plan 2009-2012 Acute & Critical Care SIG Preparing for the Future: Where ONS is Going in 2009 and Beyond ONS Vision The vision of the Oncology Nursing Society is to lead the transformation of cancer care. ONS Mission The mission of the Oncology Nursing Society is to promote excellence in oncology nursing and quality cancer care. CCS SIG Mission The mission of the Acute & Critical Care (CCS) Special Interest Group (SIG) is to promote excellence in Oncologic Acute & Critical Care Nursing by promoting a useful, efficient network of communication within ONS for oncology nurses providing acute and critical care, and by serving as a forum for oncology nurses to identify and explore current Oncologic Acute & Critical Care issues, and by sharing educational resources and clinical expertise with other Special Interest Groups and the membership-at-large.
